What We Do
Overview
The Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative, Inc.© is a unique private non-profit, grass-roots
organization serving children and families in the Ward 8 community. As we value the relationship of the
family, it is our goal to assist, nurture, support and sustain relationships within and around the community
that positively impact the family. It is our belief that Ward 8 has valuable resources that contribute to the
educational, economic, cultural and spiritual foundation of the families that reside within. It is not only
our responsibility but also our pleasure to provide quality programs and services that foster relationships that
create a healthy and cohesive living environment for all of its residents.

Members of FSFSC, have unique opportunities to acquire a wealth of human and
social service information and resources. As the mission of the FSFSC is to, "… Act as a
catalyst to develop, nurture and sustain partnerships…" we believe that creating and maintaining
healthy community relationships is a key component to meeting the needs and demands of the
community. The value of information and education during these changing times is crucial to
building and supporting an environment that can sustain itself over time.Membership is
