How We Do It

Since FSFSC’s inception, it has been customary to utilize the depth of talent, knowledge, resources and skills embedded deep within its community. Therefore, we have utilized the foundation of intensive community engagement, community capacity building, partnership establishment (development) and continued education. We are certain that we cannot support and sustain the residents of Ward 8 alone and have skillfully created a network of support and expertise through a model unlike any other collaborative. We recognize that each neighborhood has its own nuances, needs and culture and are able to find staples in the neighborhood that are prepared and willing to serve.
